Michelle Borisenok Elected VP of New York Race Track Chaplaincy

Michelle Cuozzo Borisenok, a prominent Thoroughbred owner, entrepreneur, and philanthropist from Saratoga Springs, NY, has been named vice president of the New York Race Track Chaplaincy. This announcement follows her appointment to the board of directors in December and comes after the passing of the former vice president, Nancy C. Kelly, in February.

Borisenok, who operates Brown Road Racing, a boutique Thoroughbred racing organization focused on empowering women, has long been an advocate for women's leadership and backstretch community welfare. Her stable is known for its 2021 victory in the Cicada Stakes with *Just Read It*. Additionally, Borisenok and her husband co-own Old Tavern Farm, a Thoroughbred breeding operation in Saratoga, since 2016.

Terry Finley, chairman of the Chaplaincy, expressed confidence in Borisenok's ability to enhance the lives of backstretch workers in her new role.

The New York Race Track Chaplaincy provides vital support to the backstretch community at NYRA racetracks, offering a wide range of programs, from youth mentoring and social services to educational and recreational initiatives. Through her leadership and dedication, Borisenok is poised to make a significant impact in this mission.
