    Our Brown Road Racing partners started the day bright and early with a visit to the Oklahoma Training Track to watch the magnificent thoroughbreds in action. The dedication and hard work that goes into preparing the horses is truly inspiring.

  • The races have begun at Keeneland with a thrilling start! 4/18/2024

    Brown Road Racing members met up to cheer on in La Salvadorena’s ninth race. As we cheered her on, she faced some interference and was bumped between horses at the gate. Despite this, she managed to navigate through the crowd and save ground before strategically finding an opening between three rivals at the three-sixteenths pole. With jockey F. Prat guiding her, she made a powerful surge along the rail in the final sixteenth to secure a strong second placement in the race. Congratulations to trainer Ray Handal and team, jockey F. Prat for a great ride and to our partners for an impressive race.

  • A Thrilling Race Unfolds at Keeneland! 4/18/24

    Certified Loverboy showcasing his talent under the guidance of trainer Ray Handal. In the fourth race, Certified Loverboy made a strong start by pressing outside the leader from the beginning. As the race progressed, he engaged in a bid with another contender at the half-mile pole. With jockey F. Prat skillfully steering him, Certified Loverboy battled inside of another horse around the far turn. However, as they neared the final stretch, he was unable to match the pace of the front-runner but managed to secure a solid place in the race…. Following the race, it was confirmed that Certified Loverboy had been claimed. We extend our gratitude to trainer Ray Handal and his team, as well as to our partners, for their unwavering dedication and commitment throughout his journey. As Certified Loverboy moves on to the next phase of his career, we send our best wishes for his continued success.

    🌟What an amazing day at Palm Beach Downs in Delray Beach, Florida! March 2014 With the wonderful support of the Race Track Chaplaincy of America & the NY Race Track Chaplaincy, our Brown Road Racing members enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon with children’s activities and a pizza dinner. It was a heartwarming experience bringing smiles to the faces of the children, spreading joy in the community and meeting the thoroughbreds that bring us all together. 🙏❤️

    We are heartbroken to report Constitutionlawyer was involved in a tragic, fatal incident this morning at the Belmont training track. He was a talented & much loved horse.   • Brown Road Racing Spreads Holiday Cheer: NY Race Track Chaplaincy Sponsor-A-Family Program 2023

    Brown Road Racing members participate in the NY Race Track Chaplaincy Sponsor a Family for Christmas - December 2023.   Thank you to many of our wonderful members who participated in the NYRTC’s Sponsor-A-Family Program. The program provides food and gifts to the backstretch families during the Christmas season. Sponsors provide brand new winter clothing for children, a new toy for each child, and a grocery store gift card for the family’s Christmas dinner.

    Michelle Cuozzo Borisenok & Najja Thompson have been appointed to the Board of Directors of the New York Race Track Chaplaincy. Borisenok, known for her support of women's leadership, operates Brown Road Racing, a Thoroughbred racing organization emphasizing education and philanthropy. Thompson, the executive director of the New York Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc., has a background in marketing and communications at the New York Racing Association. The New York Race Track Chaplaincy provides various programs for the backstretch community, including enrichment, mentoring, and religious services at NYRA racetracks and surrounding farms.   • Constitutionlawyer Eyes Stakes Breakthrough After Consecutive Optional Claiming Triumphs

    Constitutionlawyer, owned by West Paces Racing, Brown Road Racing, Adelphi Racing Club, Shelly Hume, and Russell Hume, is gearing up for the $150,000 Queens County, a nine-furlong race for 3-year-olds and up at Aqueduct Racetrack on December 31. Trained by Ray Handal, the 4-year-old gelding, a son of Constitution, recently secured consecutive victories in optional claiming races at the Big A, showcasing a remarkable progression. His last win came in a one-mile contest where he displayed a determined performance, earning a career-high Beyer Speed Figure of 94. Handal expresses confidence in Constitutionlawyer's mental and physical development, emphasizing his potential for further improvement. Having previously faced tough competition, including a race against Bright Future, who later won the Grade 1 Jockey Club Gold Cup, Constitutionlawyer boasts a promising 17-4-1-3 record with nearly $300,000 in earnings. Under the expert guidance and loving care of Tina and James Bond, Bond Racing Stable, we're confident that No Payne will take to this new role like a champion. We're incredibly proud of all her achievements on the track, and now we're eager to see her pass on her remarkable genes, strength, and spirit to the next generation. This isn't an end, but a beautiful new beginning for No Payne. We're certain she'll be just as extraordinary at motherhood as she was at racing. Here's to the next chapter in her life!
